I have been interested in Social Media and the expanding aspects of this new age of marketing and pr for quite some time. I figured Social Media Week would be the perfect time to start this blog and start talking about my thoughts on different SM mediums and interesting applications. I will be attending the event “Social Diva Celebrates Digital Divas” at the Hotel Rivington tonight in NY from 8pm-11pm. I’m really looking forward to meeting Melanie Nokin, founder of Savvy Auntie (@savvyauntie) and Yuli Ziv (@yuliz), founder and Editor-in-Chief of MyItThings. Good seeing the new version of “IT” girls meaning savvy business women on the web instead of Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan partying in Hollywood.
